Tour Duration: 6 night and 7 days

Transportation: Drive+ Flight

Day 1- Arrive in Addis Ababa and be met by our team and transferred to your hotel, overnight at hotel.

Day 2- Morning fly to Mekele and met the tram at the airport and direct drive to Berhale a small town of Afar lunch break and permit paper from the tourism office and continue to Hamedela, overnight camping

Day 3- Morning head to Dodem a base camp arrival lunch break and rest, prepare camel late afternoon trek to the active volcano and admire the Ertale active volcano and take picture spend the night, overnight camping

Day 4- Early in the morning trek back to the base camp meet the car and drive to Hamedela, late afternoon photograph the caravan from your camp site, overnight camping

Day 5- Morning head to Dalol to visit the amazing mineral colors and one of the lowest place on earth 120 meter below sea level and lake Asale, after lunch break drive to Mekele, overnight hotel

Day 6- Excursion to Geralta Chain Mountain to visit the rock hewn churches of Tigray, some of them are Aberha we Atsebha, Abune Yemata and Wekro Cherkos afternoon drive back to Mekele, overnight hotel.

Day 7- Fly back to Addis Ababa, Afternoon city tour we visit historical sites in Addis Ababa including the National Archaeological Museum, where we will view the 3.6 million year old remains of “Lucy”, whose skeletal remains when discovered in 1974. You will also visit the Ethnological Museum at Addis Ababa University, Holy Trinity Cathedrals and Mount Entoto which rises up to an altitude of 3200 meters and offers a panoramic view of the metropolis, after traditional dinner transfer to air port for departure.
