Day 1- Arrive Addis Ababa and afternoon is a city tour, Overnight Addis Ababa

Day 2- Take the morning flight to Gonder and then visiting the 17th century castles (or the Royal enclosure of Fassiledes) and the beautifully painted church of Debra Brehan Selassie, Overnight Gonder

Day 3- Drive from Gonder to Sankaber, the Semien Mountains National Park, and Overnight Sankaber camping.

Day 4- Start Trekking from Sankaber to Geech along breathtaking escarpment and wonderful scenery over looking great volcanic hills and Rocky Mountains of unusual land formation via Kedadit, one of the best viewpoints in the Semien Mountains, Overnight Geech camping.

Day 5-Trek from Geech to mount Immeitgogo, Kedadit, and back to Geech, Overnight Geech camping.

Day 6- Trek from Geech to Cheneck, the site for the endemic Walia Ibex, along the cliffs of the mountain range. Overnight Cheneck camping.

Day 7-Trek from Cheneck to Ambiko via Buhait Ras one of the highest peaks in the Semien MNP, next to Ras Dashen, Overnight Ambiko camping

Day 8- Full day Trek-excursion to put your foot on the Ethiopia’s highest peak Ras Dashen (4546 m), It takes approximately about 11:00 hours up and down walk; this is the most difficult day of the trip, Overnight Ambiko camping.

Day 9- Trek from Ambiko to Arquazziye, via the villages of Amahara Shema, Overnight Arquazziye camping.

Day 10- Trek from Arquazziye to Mekarebia through the scenic route Sona and Ayinza River, Overnight Mekarebia camping.

Day 11- Trek from Mekarebia to Mulit via Derek Wanz and Hawaza peak, Overnight Mulit camping.

Day 12- Trek from Mulit to Adiarky, where we meet our vehicles and then drive to Axum through the scenic and dramatically formed Tekazze River valley. Overnight Axum

Day 13- Full day Visiting Axum, an ancient city of Axum is the country’s oldest extant urban settlement. Once the capital and major religious center, it remains the site of many remarkable antiquities, including the famous monolithic obelisks, or stelae, important stone inscriptions, the remains of spectacular places and graves, and a special gold- silver and orange currency. The city with its historical church of St.Mary of Tsion (Zion) is compulsory for the tourist and any serious student of Ethiopia history and culture, Overnight Axum.

Day 14- Fly to Lalibela arrival transfer to hotel and after lunch break visit the eight wonders of the world the Lalibela rock hewn churches excavated from rock and mountain in the 12th century, Overnight Lalibela.

Day 15- Full day visiting the remaining rock-hewn churches, Legend has it that it took about 23 years to hewn the first 11 Churches. Of these, Beta Giorgis which is designed in a form of Cross with the absence of standing pillars, is one of the remarkable ancient architecture of the era

Day 16- Morning transfer to airport to fly back to Addis on the way visit the cave churches of Nakt’Leab after arrival in Addis Shopping and cultural dinner then departure.
